Prakash Engineering Ltd. was founded in 1978 by Ravi Prakash, P.Eng., in Alberta, Canada. In 1979, Ravi relocated the firm to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, where he welcomed the company’s first employee, technologist Jim Brown. Through a commitment to excellence in building design, project leadership, and community involvement, the firm established a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering solutions throughout Prince Albert and across Saskatchewan.

In 2005, Prakash Engineering Ltd. evolved into Prakash Consulting Ltd., marking a new chapter in the firm’s growth and continued commitment to engineering excellence. Over the decades, the company has expanded its expertise and project portfolio while maintaining the values and principles upon which it was founded.

Following the retirement of founder Ravi Prakash, P.Eng., and long-time team member Jim Brown, the firm transitioned to its current leadership. Today, Prakash Consulting Ltd. is led by Martin Kiffiak, P.Eng., B.Sc. C.E., Principal Structural Engineer, Managing Partner, and Director, and Bradley K. Johnson, P.Eng., Senior Engineer and Managing Partner. Supported by a skilled team of engineers, technologists, and administrative professionals, the firm continues to provide innovative engineering solutions, exceptional client service, and practical designs for a diverse range of projects throughout Saskatchewan and Western Canada.
